It has been an adventurous five months of my life since starting Fortune Cookie Mom. I have learned SO MUCH during these five months, and I know I have a lot more to learn. I’m very excited and nervous to try new things, leaving comfortable and familiar behind, but when I think of my kids and everyone who benefits from this blog, it motivates me to keep working and not give up. Thank you for all of your support.

Today, I’m honored to announce that besides my husband (who helps with photography among other things), we have added one more member to the team.

After I finished the first Chinese Theme Packs I published, I was happy, but I thought it would be great if I could find Asian style clipart so that the clipart would match the Chinese Theme Packs. I tried really hard to find any but with zero results.

One night, while I was talking with my husband, he suggested that we ask our friend, Kirin if he would be interested in drawing clipart for us. I didn’t want to bother him since he recently was married and already puts in a lot of time at work. But after my husband’s encouragement, I contacted him and invited him over for dinner. That night, the Fortune Cookie Mom Team got an artist!
